To ensure the safety of our communities and staff, Testing Point service is currently suspended due to COVID-19. We will update this page and the facebook page with a date the service will resume and details around changes to how the service will need to run to maintain public safety.
Testing Point is a free walk-in express STI clinic open to anyone and operates every Tuesday night 6pm until 8pm with last appointment from 7.30pm. This is a free service for anyone with an Australian Medicare card. Unfortunately we cannot see anyone who does not have a Medicare number.
Testing Point is run by qualified volunteer LGBTI nurses and doctors. The Queensland Council for LGBTI Health advocates for regular sexual health testing for those who are sexually active, regardless of whether you have symptoms or not. Regular testing is key to managing STIs in our communities. If you have any questions about sexual health or the services offered by the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health please call us on (07) 3017 1777.
